Donhobad is Bengali and means THANK YOU! Today we would like to thank the "Café Gegenüber" of the protestant parish of Halle (Westphalia) for another immense donation of 2,000 € for educational work in Mymensingh! Pupils, trainees and students receive financial support thanks to the scholarship programme. Scholarship holders often teach children from poor families in slums or remote villages. Currently, about 30 students help 870 children at four schools in Mymensingh with their learning. The scholarship program has existed since 1987 and is one of the first projects of the Taizé Brothers in Bangladesh. You can find out more about this project under "Projects in Bangladesh".
