Parapar e.V.

At the Gartenwelten event in Großpösna on May 17, our Parapar association had its own booth. We sold handmade products from the PCC workshop in Mymensingh, crafted by people with disabilities, as well as colorful, traditional Bengali children’s clothing. Nearly 1,500 people made their way to the Gartenwelten event and enjoyed the lively atmosphere.

A special highlight was the face painting for children - many young visitors had a Bengali tiger or other favorite animals painted on their faces. Equally popular were the henna designs, where children received temporary tattoos on their hands.

Thanks to our dedicated volunteers and, above all, our own children, we were able to bring joy to many young hearts. At the same time, we had numerous wonderful conversations about our projects in Bangladesh and the work of our association. We are therefore looking forward to further events next year in cooperation with Kuhstall e.V. (https://www.kuhstall-grosspoesna.de/).
