Annual Meeting 2023

from 25th August to 27th August 2023 in Leipzig

This year, our annual meeting took us to rural Leipzig, to Gottscheina. In a powerful storm and thunderstorm, we moved together in the barn of our host family and celebrated our long-awaited analogue reunion with relish - in good tradition with rice and dhal. At least the campfire burned for a short time...

On Saturday we met, consulted and exchanged ideas. We have completed our mission statement, thought about how we would like to welcome new members (welcome!), set up a new association email address (info@parapar.de), tinkered with our website and the topic of data protection, relieved our treasurer, planned the coming year and discussed concrete next steps for St. Martin's Day in Leipzig and the Youth Thanksgiving Offering of the Saxon Regional Church. At the end of the long day, we were happy to see pictures from Bangladesh from the last trip of our two members Sebastian and Taimur.

On Sunday there was the traditional live connection to our project partners in Mymensingh. We regularly meet digitally, hear from each other and exchange ideas. We ended our annual meeting with a brunch.
